Bad Behavior Costs St. John and López
Sunday, July 26th, 2015
Bad blood could be brewing between the Jokers and the Hornets. In yesterday's contest at Lucky 7 Ballpark, Las Vegas's Colin St. John and Eureka's José López caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only St. John and López were ejected by the umpires.

Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 5 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.

League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.

So far this season St. John has put up a .261 batting average with 86 hits, 20 home runs and 65 RBIs.

He has made 22 relief appearances this year with 0 saves. López has achieved a 0-0 record while holding opposing hitters to a .342 batting average and posting a 4.26 ERA. He has tossed 19 innings, given up 27 base hits, fanned 12 and issued 9 walks.
