DTD Injury Puts Crawford out of Lineup Sunday, July 26th, 2015 Reports out of Nottinghamshire indicate that Jim Crawford, the gifted shortstop, might be sidelined for one week or so with a sore back. The 28-year-old star suffered the injury in yesterday's Berserkers-Outlaws game while throwing the ball. "It's a game time decision," noted the team doctor, "It all depends on how Jim feels later today. If he can play, he will." For the season Crawford is currently batting .314 with 8 home runs and 54 RBIs. In 99 games he has reached base at a .409 rate and scored 86 runs to date. |
