5-5 Day for Crawford
Monday, July 20th, 2015
"It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Nottinghamshire shortstop Jim Crawford said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Washington Capitalists at Michigan & Trumball. "I got some good counts and used the whole field."
The Outlaws had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 20-11.
Jim Crawford singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a three-run triple in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
Crawford currently has a .316 batting average with 123 hits, 8 homers, 52 RBIs, 83 runs scored and a .411 OBP.
