So Cal, Washington Confirm Deal Monday, June 29th, 2015 BNN has learned the So Cal Republic have reportedly worked out a deal with the Washington Capitalists. Sources close to the Republic indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 25-year-old second baseman Michael Lewis will be swapped to So Cal with 25-year-old minor league reliever José Pacheco heading to Washington. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. This year Lewis is batting .258 with 1 home run and 12 RBIs. In 43 games he has scored 20 times. |
