So Cal Deals Hiracheta to Cabo San Lucas for Takahashi Monday, June 15th, 2015 Reports have surfaced that So Cal has agreed to send 22-year-old reliever Luis Miguel Hiracheta to the Cabo San Lucas Toreros in exchange for 22-year-old minor league second baseman Tetsui Takahashi. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team. To this point in the season, Hiracheta has put up these figures: 0-3 record, 7 relief appearances with 23 innings, no saves, 17 strikeouts, 16 walks and a 12.13 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .385 batting average. |
