Star of the Week Named in TML Monday, May 4th, 2015 At the age of 29, Dan Smith might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Cabo San Lucas first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .387 batting average. For his efforts Smith collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 31 at-bats, 4 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 7 games. This year Smith is batting .336 with 6 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
