League Suspends Becker and Johnson for Brawl Tuesday, April 28th, 2015 The league commissioner has issued 5-game suspensions to Tom Becker of Washington and Steve Johnson of San Diego. The two players were involved in a confrontation during a recent Capitalists-Hops game at Michigan & Trumball and now will miss time because of it. Neither player would comment on the suspensions. Becker is batting .321 with 2 home runs and 12 RBIs this season. In 11 relief appearances this season, Johnson has no saves. He has no wins and 2 losses, 8.31 ERA and 7 strikeouts in 8.2 innings. |
