Maple Marauders Ship Hoffmann to Mile High Tuesday, February 24th, 2015 The Marauders and Mustangs pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 23-year-old minor league reliever Colby Hoffmann head to Mile High in exchange for 25-year-old starting pitcher Chet Carver. A source close to Maple officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." Since joining the league, Carver has compiled an ERA of 4.52 with a career record of 9-15. He has 113 strikeouts in 197 innings and has held opponents to a .274 batting average. |
