Black Career Ended by Major Injury
Friday, October 3rd, 2014
The worst fears of Mustangs fans were confirmed today at a postgame press conference. Mile High center fielder Eric Black has been lost for the season with a concussion. The 28-year-old Black sustained the injury making a defensive play in today's game with the Tornadoes at Debris Field. In all likelihood, the injury means the end of his professional baseball career.

This year Black has collected a .276 batting average to date with 150 hits in 544 at-bats, 74 RBIs, 25 home runs and scored 98 times. He has played in 140 games.
