Ouch! Dave Carlisle Shelved by Injury Sunday, September 28th, 2014 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Toreros when after today's game against the Jacks, the club found out they would be without the services of Dave Carlisle for at least 1-2 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Carlisle was injured earlier today colliding with a player at a base and suffered a mild hamstring strain. Looking at his season stats, Carlisle has compiled a .367 batting average and a .490 on-base percentage, while hitting no home runs and driving in 46 runs. |
