Recovery Slow For Bandits Chris Collins
Thursday, August 21st, 2014
The Montreal Bandits plan to take it slow with right fielder Chris Collins, knowing that his recovery from a strained posterior cruciate ligament would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Chris has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about one week before he can be activated."

In his 2014 season totals, Collins has 25 home runs, .378 BA, .431 OBP, 102 RBIs and 81 runs scored.
