Shields Cracks 5 Hits Friday, July 18th, 2014 Tim Shields did more than his part as Montreal trimmed Washington today at Labatt Bleue Park. The Bandits catcher pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 16-7 thumping of the Capitalists. Tim Shields singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This season Shields is batting .371 with 85 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 34 times and has 37 runs batted in. |
