Career Finished, Pīrcalab Suffers Setback in Rehab Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 Cornel Pīrcalab's baseball career is almost certainly over according to his doctors. The 34-year-old San Diego Hops shortstop was given the dreadful news after suffering a setback in his rehabilitation from a a ruptured finger tendon. A Hops team official, speaking unofficially, was quoted by reporters as saying, "For all intents and purposes, his career is over." |
