Injury Takes Toll, Dave Carlisle Out Tuesday, June 17th, 2014 The Cabo San Lucas Toreros will have to make do without Dave Carlisle for 5 weeks. He suffered an oblique strain while running the bases in the game today against the San Diego Hops. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the center fielder. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." This season Carlisle is hitting .409 with 97 hits, no home runs, 30 RBIs, scored 53 runs and played in 61 games. |
