Hines Goes on Rampage Against Crush Tuesday, June 17th, 2014 Maple third baseman Cale Hines had the hot hand today in the game against the Crush at Progress Energy Field. He scorched Carolina pitching for 5 hits and paced the Marauders to a 12-8 victory. Cale Hines singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Hines is batting .250 this year with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 43 hits in 172 at-bats. |
