New York Loses Ronald Hart
Thursday, May 15th, 2014
The New York Mafia were dealt a severe blow when Ronald Hart was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the San Francisco Earthquakes. After the game, the team trainer reported Hart might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 29-year-old reliever out for the rest of the season with a damaged elbow ligament. They indicated it would take Hart at least 11-12 months to heal.

This season Hart has made 19 relief appearances and has 1 save. His record is 1-0 with 24 strikeouts in 24 innings with a 2.25 ERA.
