Nottinghamshire Blanks Jesters, Smiley Wins Monday, May 12th, 2014 Larry Smiley of the Nottinghamshire Outlaws was lights out in a 2-hit whitewash of the Jersey Jesters. He told BNN reporters, "I had my good stuff and it went where I wanted it to go." He registered 3 strikeouts and 1 walk in shutting out Jersey 11-0. Thus far this season Smiley has posted a 5-1 record, started 7 games, struck out 26 batters in 44.2 innings and compiled a 5.44 ERA. |
