San Francisco Owner Mays Passes Away, Son Replaces Him Wednesday, February 15th, 2012 The city of San Francisco is in mourning today for the owner of the San Francisco Earthquakes, Willie Mays. He passed away after a brief illness yesterday at a local hospital. Team spokesmen, speaking anonymously, told reporters that his son Edgardo Mays would take charge of running the team and would eventually be named the new owner. Inside sources said that the younger Mays would be tolerant in management style and controlling in financial matters. |
