No Hits for Padgett, Streak Ends at 23 Sunday, April 20th, 2014 Hornets left fielder Andrew Padgett finally met his Waterloo. His 23-game hitting spree is now history. He was unable to make anything happen in 4 at-bats in today's game against the Boston Cardinals, but the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game 4-2. This year Padgett is hitting .340, produced 12 RBIs and 5 home runs, scored 11 times and gotten on base at a .386 rate. |
