Roberto Clemente League Names Rookie of Month Thursday, August 1st, 2013 A veritable toddler to the Roberto Clemente League, Blake Reynolds just sewed up the Rookie of the Month trophy for July. Over the past month the 23-year-old first baseman for Seattle hit .320 with 33 hits, 10 home runs and 24 RBI. He also logged 9 walks and compiled a .374 on-base percentage. In 100 games this year Reynolds has posted a .328 average and put up these numbers: 29 home runs, 77 RBIs and 86 runs scored. |
