Dallas's Sturzo Injured, Out of Lineup Monday, July 15th, 2013 "I'm frustrated right now," said Dallas starting pitcher Montrell Sturzo. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Texans, that's where he will be spending 13 months. Sturzo suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament in today's game against Jacksonville while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." Checking out his stats for the season, Sturzo has racked up 5 wins and 6 losses in 18 starts, 4.57 ERA and struck out 85 batters in 108.1 innings. |
