Reliever Bower Top RCL Pitcher in June Monday, July 1st, 2013 Oliver Bower was the anchor in the Nottinghamshire bullpen last month and snatched up the Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month honors for June. The 32-year-old is in the prime of his career and pitching like he intends to stay around baseball for quite some time to come. He threw 16.1 innings over 13 relief appearances and collected a 5-0 record with 20 strikeouts and 7 saves while etching his 0.55 ERA. This season Bower has 21 saves in 40 relief appearances with a 7-2 record and 1.38 ERA. |
