RCL Honors Seattle Center Fielder Monday, June 24th, 2013 The Roberto Clemente League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Edgar Johnson, center fielder of the Seattle Sasquatch. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .545 pace to win the award. Johnson went 12-22 for the week, totaled 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 9 times. Johnson is hitting .277 so far this season with 58 RBIs and 61 runs scored. He has 70 hits including 24 home runs, 37 walks and .371 OBP. |
