5-Hit Barrage by Simmons Thursday, June 6th, 2013 It was a magical day at the plate for the Toreros Kieran Simmons. The 27-year-old first baseman helped lift Cabo San Lucas to a 11-2 win over the Washington Capitalists today at Field de Los Layendas. Simmons smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats to spark his club to victory. Kieran Simmons singled in the 2nd, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jason Elliott in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jason Elliott in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season Simmons has 9 home runs and a .318 batting average. |
