Baker Nabs TML Weekly Award Monday, May 20th, 2013 Boston Cardinals center fielder Abel Baker rose above the controversy surrounding his soon-to-expire contract, thriving under pressure last week and copping the Player of the Week award in the Thurman Munson League. Baker put up a .474 batting average (9-19) with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 5 times. During the current season Baker is batting at a .278 clip with 6 home runs and 33 RBIs.
