Drake Sparkles, Blanks Jacksonville Tuesday, May 14th, 2013 The Jacksonville Jacks met their match today in Boston hurler Jimmy Drake. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 1-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," the Jacksonville skipper said. "He probably didn't even take a shower after the game. I don't think he even worked up a sweat. They could probably pitch him again tomorrow." In the 9-0 victory Drake whiffed 4 and gave up 3 walks. To this point in the season Drake has 3 wins and 1 loss and a 2.98 ERA. |
