Jacksonville Loses Brandon May Wednesday, April 24th, 2013 It took the Jacksonville team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Brandon May won't simply play through a torn labrum after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Outlaws-Jacks game. At first, it looked like May might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 7-8 months. This season in 8 relief appearances May has thrown 8 innings and collected no saves. His won-lost record is 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA. |
