 | Red-Hot Bat: Aoyama Collects Cycle Sunday, July 29th, 2012 Saitama Seibu third baseman Anzai Aoyama had a stellar day today at Ballpark of Hakui College. His 4-hit day included a cycle and 3 runs batted in and was instrumental in the Lions 17-11 victory over the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. Anzai Aoyama walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Haruki Suto in the 5th, tripled in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. Thus far this season Aoyama is hitting .197 with 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 132 at-bats and has played in 45 games. |   |
