 | Daikawa Runs Hit String to 33 Straight Games Saturday, September 10th, 2016 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Yasuhide Daikawa did it again. He bashed 1 hit in today's game and for the last 33 games in a row has collected at least one hit. The 27-year-old Yokohama shortstop extended his streak as the Bay Stars beat the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles 22-6 at Sailboats Ballpark. Yasuhide Daikawa walked in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and walked in the 9th. For the year Daikawa has hit .346 with 14 home runs, 74 RBIs and scored 83 runs. |   |
