 | 25 Games in a Row for Daikawa Sunday, August 21st, 2016 Yokohama's Yasuhide Daikawa was 1-4 in the Bay Stars 11-3 victory over the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. That stretched his hitting streak to 25 games. In the clubhouse after the win, the 27-year-old Daikawa told reporters, "I'm in a groove right now, and I am trying to stay there by doing the same things over and over again. If I change something, it might bring me bad luck." Yasuhide Daikawa walked in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 8th. This year Daikawa has batted at a .343 pace with 107 hits, 13 home runs, 71 RBIs and scored 75 times. |   |
