 | Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Daikawa Sunday, August 7th, 2016 The Yokohama Bay Stars stopped the Saitama Seibu Lions today 14-12 and Yasuhide Daikawa was able to hit safely again. The Yokohama shortstop got 2 hits and ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20.
Daikawa was excited after the victory and told the press, "I want to get a hit every time up. I want to get a hit every game I play. I want to win every game for the greatest fans in the world, Bay Stars fans!" Yasuhide Daikawa singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, walked in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
