 | Inagawa Hurt After Punching Locker

After suffering through yet another heartbreaking loss, Tohoku Rakuten left fielder Akihisa Inagawa took his frustration out in the clubhouse. At first, Inagawa expressed his rage by shouting loudly and overturning a water cooler. However, the tantrum took a particularly ugly turn when Inagawa decided to take his anger out on his locker. "He unleashed a couple swift jabs to the metal door, then I saw him clutching his hand and wincing," said teammate Masatake Furukawa. "I knew right then he'd hurt himself pretty bad." X-rays confirmed that Inagawa had in fact fractured his hand. "He's gonna be out for at least a month," said manager Tom Good. "He really needs to learn to control his anger. Not having him available is gonna be a major setback for our team." The team will explore free agent and trade options, but may be forced to fill Inagawa's position internally. |   |
