 | CL's Top Hitter Announced Friday, July 1st, 2016 Shiro Kamida of the Hiroshima Toyo Carp stood out in June with a .349 batting average against Central League pitchers to land him the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old right fielder totaled 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He also chipped in 16 walks for a .475 on-base percentage. This season Kamida is batting .379 with 54 RBIs, 60 runs scored and 24 home runs. |   |
