 | CL Awards Best Batter Prize to Daikawa Monday, June 13th, 2016 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Central League Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Yasuhide Daikawa for his great week at the plate. The Yokohama shortstop took home the trophy by banging out 10 hits in 20 at-bats for a .500 batting average, driving in 5 runs and scoring 8 times.
