 | League Suspends Samurakami and Ueda for Fisticuffs Sunday, June 12th, 2016 A bench-clearing brawl marred the Yokohama-Saitama Seibu game at Cuckoos Stadium yesterday and resulted in two players being suspended today by the league office. The Bay Stars Tomokazu Samurakami and the Lions Kaoru Ueda were ejected from the game for fighting. Both players will have to sit out 5 games. Samurakami's current batting average stands at .296 and he has chalked up 3 home runs and 20 RBIs. Checking out his stats for the season, Ueda has registered 2 wins and 3 losses in 10 starts, 6.45 ERA and struck out 35 batters in 44.2 innings. |   |
