 | Hokkaido Nippon-Ham SP Sakurai Will Miss 4-5 Months Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015 The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters will be without the services of Noriaki Sakurai for 4-5 months after an incident in a game against the Saitama Seibu Lions. The 36-year-old starting pitcher was injured while throwing a pitch and suffered a bone spur in his elbow. This season Sakurai has a 6-2 record with a 3.78 ERA in 11 starts. |   |
