 | Marines Daikawa Down with Injury Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015 It took the Chiba Lotte team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Naomichi Daikawa won't simply play through shoulder inflammation after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Fighters-Marines game. At first, it looked like Daikawa might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4 months. This year Daikawa has 17 relief appearances, saving 2. His record is 1-0 with 21 strikeouts in 21.1 innings and a 3.38 ERA. |   |
