 | Super Week for Tohoku Rakuten's Onishi! Monday, June 23rd, 2014 So far in his young career, Seinosuke Onishi has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Pacific League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles right fielder hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 9 hits in 18 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 8 runs scored. To date this year Onishi is batting .313 with 17 home runs. |   |
