 | Golden Eagles Takahashi Down with Injury Thursday, May 29th, 2014 Tohoku Rakuten reliever Ogai Takahashi left today's game with a damaged elbow ligament. The injury looked like it occurred throwing a pitch in the game against Fukuoka SoftBank. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Golden Eagles without Takahashi for about 14 months. Takahashi's record up to now is 0-and-0 with no saves and a 5.03 ERA.
