 | Thomson Garners LBL #1 Pitcher Award Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 Ron Thomson was a long shot to make the Saskatoon Legends this year, especially being a 36-year-old rookie. Now the Saskatoon hurler has parlayed a 6-0 record into the Lester B. Person League Pitcher of the Month award. In May, he chalked up 62 strikeouts in 46.1 innings and compiled a 0.78 ERA. This season-to-date, Thomson has fashioned a 10-0 mark and 1.01 ERA in 80.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .159 against him and he has logged 101 strikeouts. |   |
