 | This Week's Star Player is Myers Monday, May 9th, 2016 Kelly Myers must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .522 clip, then the TCU first baseman finds outs he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the RDL Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Myers batted .522 (12-23) with 5 home runs and 8 RBIs. Myers is hitting .341 this year with 17 home runs, 39 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
