 | League Gives Ramírez 4-Game Suspension Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 Houston's Gustavo Ramírez made contact with the home plate umpire during a dispute in the game with the Sun Devils yesterday and he will have to pay for it. Ramírez violently disagreed when he was called out on strikes. During the intense discussion he bumped chests with the umpire and was immediately tossed out of the game. Today the league commissioner gave him a 4-game suspension. Still steamed by it, Ramírez told BNN, "I think the ump bumped me and he is the one who should be suspended.
