 | BNN Says Cyclones Manager Page Gone Thursday, June 4th, 2015 Earlier reports stating Cyclones manager Justin Page was fired were confirmed today by team officials. Page's time as Iowa State manager ended due to reasons undisclosed by the team, but rocky relations with players along with disagreements with the front office can probably be credited for the dismissal. Page had no comment on the situation, but ownership had this to say: "We thank Justin for his time with the team, but we felt it was time to part ways. Expectations were not met and promises were not fulfilled, and the Cyclones would rather continue their commitment to winning with a new manager and a different direction." A successor has not been named, though some names have been speculated to be next in line for the job. A press conference introducing the next coach should be held in the coming days, but for now the only official news is that Page's tenure as manager is over. |   |
