 | Great Day for Petersen, Hits for Cycle Wednesday, May 13th, 2015 Some days you have a great game and your team wins... and sometimes you have a great game and your team loses. That's what happened to Brooks Petersen of the Volunteers. Today the 21-year-old Tennessee center fielder had a great day at the plate. He hit for the cycle by pounding out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 2 runs batted in and scored 3 runs, but his club came out on the wrong end of the score and lost to the Missouri Tigers 11-10. Brooks Petersen flied out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Kenny Winston in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th. For the year Petersen is batting .380 with 10 home runs, 28 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |   |
