The hard-working and hard-playing Alan Lucas was rewarded with the Rod Dedeaux League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Long Beach State 49'ers left fielder hit .476 while collecting 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 4 home runs and 11 RBIs.
