 | Marc Hayes Out 4-5 Months Monday, April 28th, 2014 Earlier today, Alabama starting pitcher Marc Hayes had to leave the game against Clemson because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn back muscle and will miss 4-5 months of play. Hayes was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. So far this season, Hayes has logged a 1-2 record with a 7.89 ERA. He has started 5 games, hurled 21.2 innings and registered 20 strikeouts and 10 walks. |   |
