 | Harrison Joins 3-HR Club Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014 John Harrison showed some power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Missouri Tigers and sparked the Sycamores to a 13-4 victory. For the day he collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 7 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told reporters, "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good. I always have liked to hit here at Pit Vipers Ballpark." "He was instant offense today," the Indiana State skipper said. "John really put on a show." John Harrison flied out in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Esteban López in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Justin Gunter in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Dennis in the 5th and walked in the 7th. Harrison has a .167 average and a .237 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 14 hits, 10 home runs and driven in 23 runs. |   |
