 | Baker in Command, No-Hits Sooners Friday, April 11th, 2014 Bill Baker made quick work of Oklahoma at Madera College Grounds earlier today. The 21-year-old hurler tossed a no-hitter for the Tennessee Volunteers in defeating the Sooners 12-0. "I really didn't have my best stuff today," he admitted after the game, "there's a lot of luck involved in throwing a no-hitter. Some days it's better to be lucky than good." In a superlative outing he registered 12 strikeouts and 2 walks. Luck or not, Baker will go down in history and will get his name written down in the league record book. |   |
