 | Reggie Meredith Hurt, Out 5 Months Sunday, April 6th, 2014 Watching Reggie Meredith getting helped off the field today at Ballpark of Celebration College, fans of the Texas Longhorns feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the center fielder will miss 5 months with a torn rotator cuff. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Meredith suffered the injury throwing the ball in the game against the Ducks. So far this year, Meredith is batting .409 with no home runs and 4 RBIs. |   |
