The hard-working and hard-playing Oscar Brown was rewarded with the Buck O'Neil League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Winfield Warriors right fielder hit .458 while collecting 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run and 5 RBIs. Brown is hitting .274 for the season with 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 26 runs scored.
